Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to prevent falls
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Support infection control and safety protocols to keep patients and staff safe
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification recommended or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and able to perform physical aspects of patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a care team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering compassionate care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and experience with ADLs (bathing, feeding, toileting)
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safe handling procedures
• Good observational skills and clear, professional communication
• Teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
