Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, intervening as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
• Document care accurately and communicate changes effectively with the care team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support continuity of care
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (qualify for the role you apply for) in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS as required by unit policy
• Clinical experience caring for adult patients preferred (per-diem candidates welcome)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Registered Nurse: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or diploma)
• Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Completion of required state licensure and current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Comfortable with electronic health record charting and handoffs
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills with patients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with standard infection prevention and safety procedures
