Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
• Ensure safe handoffs and clear documentation between shifts
• Support patient and family education with empathy and clarity
• Respond to emergencies and escalations calmly and according to facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license appropriate for practice (LPN or RN candidates may apply)
• Travel nursing experience preferred; open to experienced clinicians ready for a travel role
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and facility onboarding requirements
• Comfort with overnight workflows and strong clinical judgment during night shift

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Accurate medication administration and documentation practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical record charting
• Effective communication and team collaboration during handoffs
• Time management and prioritization in a busy overnight environment
• Basic IV and wound care skills (as appropriate to your license and facility scope)
