Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
Assess patient condition and report changes to the care team promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
Document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic health record clearly and timely
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA) required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
Previous acute care nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Ability to provide safe patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of nursing assessment and clinical interventions
Proficient in medication administration and infection control practices
Comfortable using electronic health records and documenting care accurately
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients effectively
Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and teamwork
