Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care
Monitor patient progress, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and supporting teamwork

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire licensure or applicable compact status preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and best practices
Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, and medication administration
Experience with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
Comfortable with IV starts, infusion pumps, and common inpatient procedures
Excellent teamwork, prioritization, and time-management abilities
