Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a Med/Surg unit
Assess and monitor patients, recognizing changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care and clinical observations thoroughly
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Participate in orientation and unit-based learning to support a smooth start

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) - active licensure (RN listed as primary skill)
Experience or training in Med/Surg nursing (Med/Surg listed as core skill)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in scheduled orientation
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation habits

Knowledge & Skills

Med/Surg clinical practices and patient care fundamentals
Patient assessment and clinical monitoring
Safe medication administration and adherence to clinical protocols
Clear, timely documentation and handoff communication
Collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team
