Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Monitor and document patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Support unit operations by communicating effectively and assisting peers as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN credential (licensed or eligible to be licensed in New Hampshire)
• Clinical Med/Surg experience — experience caring for adult medical/surgical patients
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Ability to safely work 12.5-hour shifts and provide sustained, attentive care
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Additional specialty training or Med/Surg certifications are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a Med/Surg setting
• Medication administration and IV therapy proficiency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and staff
• Time management and multitasking under typical Med/Surg unit demands
