Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a medical-surgical setting
Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes to the care team promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
Support patient and family education to promote recovery and self-care
Participate in orientation and ongoing unit training to maintain high standards

Qualifications

Current RN (Registered Nurse) credential — RN required for the role
Experience or background in Medical-Surgical nursing (Med/Surg) preferred
Willingness to work 12-hour shift patterns and participate in orientation
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and patient safety
Skilled at clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
