Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care for PCU and ICU patients during night shifts
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition using Cerner and unit-specific protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following hospital policies and standards
• Mentor and support colleagues during orientation and float assignments, promoting best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (license to submit: yes)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (ICU/acute care experience preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Comfortable with PCU and ICU environments and associated acuity
• Experience with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems is a strong plus
• Willingness to float every other week as noted in shift details

Education

• BSN not required (BSN required: No); hold the nursing education needed to be an RN in the applicable state

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills specific to ICU and PCU care
• Proficiency with Cerner for accurate charting and documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high-acuity patient loads during nights
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced nursing environment
• Familiarity with acute care protocols and emergency response procedures
