Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
Assess, monitor and respond to changes in hemodynamic and respiratory status
Manage ventilators, infusion therapy and other advanced life support equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to create and execute care plans
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge plans
Document patient care accurately and promptly to support continuity and safety

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (ability to obtain Hawaii licensure as required)
Experience in ICU or critical care nursing (prior ICU experience preferred)
BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred or required depending on unit policy
Strong critical thinking, assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and participate in unit-based teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of critical care principles and ICU best practices
Proficiency in ventilator management and advanced respiratory care
Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
Comfortable with IV infusions, titratable drips and emergency interventions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
