Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess and triage patients rapidly to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Stabilize acute and critical patients using evidence-based nursing interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the ED team to drive positive outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - eligible to practice in New Hampshire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
• Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills
• Airway management and basic critical care interventions
• Familiarity with ED equipment and trauma protocols
• Proficient documentation and charting practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
