Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage and prioritize patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ED
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions safely and according to protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians and the care team to develop and implement patient-focused plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions and responses clearly and timely
• Advocate for patients and families while promoting a respectful, inclusive environment
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in New Hampshire (or compact license if applicable)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for ED care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in emergency nursing assessments and triage principles
• Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration and basic procedures
• Knowledge of common ED equipment and monitoring systems
• Strong prioritization, time management and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and the care team
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting
