Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging studies with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Position patients properly and operate radiographic equipment according to protocol
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient records in the imaging system
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in orientation and training activities to maintain unit consistency and quality

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or state radiologic technologist registry preferred
• Valid Missouri state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages and a variety of clinical needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Prior radiology department experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program
• Completion of ARRT or state-recognized registry program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating radiographic equipment and following imaging protocols
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and best practices
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record documentation
• Patient positioning and anatomy knowledge to produce diagnostic images
• Good infection control practices and attention to detail
