Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating nurse care for cardiac cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology, EP, techs, and anesthesia to deliver seamless procedural care
• Document care accurately in Cerner and Xper, maintaining clear communication across the team
• Respond promptly to on-call activations and emergent cases with professionalism and calm
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, guiding the team and coordinating patient flow
• Support a busy lab environment managing 10-25 cases per day while upholding quality and compliance

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• Level I trauma experience required; comfortable working in high-acuity settings
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (per posting)
• Prior cardiac cath lab, EP, or interventional cardiology experience preferred
• Ability to function as a circulating nurse (no scrub) and work closely with rad techs who may scrub
• Must be able to meet a 30-minute on-call response time

Education

• BSN not required (posting indicates BSN not required)
• Active RN license in Arizona required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records and Xper procedural systems
• Familiarity with Phillips telemetry and Siemens procedural equipment
• Strong clinical judgment in interventional cardiology and EP cases (TAVR, MitraClip, IABP, peripherals)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced procedural settings
• Ability to manage multiple cases per day while maintaining safety and documentation standards
