Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and document resident condition and report changes to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices when needed
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized resident-centered care

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current state-required certifications and ability to work in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing physical aspects of resident care and safe patient handling
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical care and measurements (vital signs, toileting, feeding)
Infection control practices and safe bathing/dressing techniques
Accurate documentation and timely reporting of resident changes
Teamwork and effective communication with nurses, therapists, and families
Empathy, patience, and strong resident advocacy
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
