Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff in a timely manner
Assist with activities of daily living to support patient dignity and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and communicate effectively with the care team
Help maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment for residents and visitors
Support nursing staff with procedures and timely delivery of care supplies

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Active or eligible to be listed on the Pennsylvania CNA registry
Basic Life Support CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Clear background check and up to date immunizations as required by facility policy
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a collaborative care team
Previous long term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed and active CNA certification program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside skills with attention to safety
Good verbal communication and interpersonal abilities with patients and families
Basic clinical documentation and charting skills
Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
Teamwork mindset and the ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
