Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition with attention to detail
Support the nursing team by communicating changes and completing assigned tasks promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and proper use of equipment
Help create a comfortable, dignified environment for residents and their families
Participate in care planning and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Demonstrated patient-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
Able to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening)
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-approved CNA training program completion

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident hygiene needs
Ability to accurately take and document vital signs
Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for older adults
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
