Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in resident records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or eligible for CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Reliable, compassionate, and able to communicate effectively with residents and team members

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic nursing assistant skills such as ADL support and vital sign collection
Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
Solid documentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition
Teamwork mindset and willingness to assist other staff as needed
