Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and safe mobility
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Support documentation and communication within the care team to ensure continuity
- Treat patients and families with respect, empathy, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Eligibility to work in Georgia; any required state registry or license as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts; flexibility for assignment scheduling
- Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
- Accurate vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Dependability, teamwork, and the ability to follow care plans and documentation practices
