Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients — assist with ADLs and promote dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent falls and injuries
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Keep the care environment clean, stocked, and comfortable for patients and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the relevant state (required)
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts and providing physical patient care
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proven skills assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety protocols
Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper charting)
Teamwork, time management, and a calm approach under pressure
