Shift Type: Primary: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day). On-call coverage: one weekday per week, 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night call). Weekend coverage: one three-day weekend per month — Friday 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM; Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (rotating weekend coverage).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain imaging and procedural equipment (Fluoroscopy, Philips OmniDiagnost Eleva, Allura FD20) to ensure procedures run smoothly
• Prepare and drape access sites and scrub to maintain a sterile field for interventional procedures
• Assist physicians with a wide range of IR procedures—venous access, embolization, stent placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy and more
• Operate PACS and document procedures accurately in Epic for clear, timely patient records
• Maintain inventory, stock supplies, and perform routine equipment checks to support uninterrupted patient care
• Respond effectively as part of Rapid Response/Code teams when urgent situations arise
• Support cases in the Cath Lab when advanced rooms are needed, ensuring proper setup and patient safety
• Teach and mentor peers when applicable, contributing to a learning-focused environment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) required
• Current BLS certification required
• State radiologic technologist license required (must be active at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Interventional Radiology experience
• Fluoroscopy and PACS experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Locals accepted; pending licenses are not accepted
• First-timers accepted if they meet cert and experience requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety
• Interventional Radiology procedures (embolization, TIPS, thrombectomy, stent placement)
• Venous access, PICC and central line care and placement support
• Ultrasound-guided procedures and image guidance
• Sterile technique, prep of access sites, and PPE/isolation precautions
• PACS image retrieval and management
• Epic electronic charting proficiency
• Equipment maintenance, inventory management and supply stocking
• Ability to support Cath Lab and Special Procedures workflow
