Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, mobility and toileting with dignity
Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document resident care and observations accurately and on time
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active/valid CNA registration or license as required by Pennsylvania
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Strong communication skills and reliable attendance

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care principles
Ability to safely transfer and ambulate residents
Familiarity with documentation practices in long-term care settings
Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
Teamwork and effective communication with clinical staff
