Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance following facility protocols
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control procedures and contribute to a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain state certification
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Reliable attendance, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and comfortable with patient mobility support
Competent in taking and documenting vital signs
Understanding of basic infection control and safety procedures
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to comfort residents and families
Familiarity with basic charting and following care plans
