Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct resident care and support daily activities with dignity
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and changes accurately
Communicate clearly with the nursing team and report any concerns promptly
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Support care plans and participate in team huddles, training, and orientation

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification for Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and reliable work ethic

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic bedside care
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with resident transfers and safe patient handling techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Accurate documentation and observational skills
