Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans with attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
- Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and their families to build trust
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow established care plans
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and safety practices
- Resident hygiene and mobility support
- Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Basic charting and familiarity with electronic or paper records
