Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams across adult outpatient and ER settings using Siemens, GE and Toshiba scanners
• Work independently on night shift to triage and image patients safely and efficiently
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required
• Use PACS (Philips IntelliSpace) for image review, transfer and documentation
• Collaborate with ED and inpatient teams and coordinate with the imaging patient transporter stationed in CT
• Maintain infection control practices including Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Accurately chart procedures and patient information in the required charting system

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT CT preferred
• BLS certification required
• State licensure required (active compact license honored at Swedish facilities)
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (unit accepts first timers)
• Proven ability to work independently on night shift
• Experience with Siemens 64-slice and 128-slice scanners and Philips IntelliSpace PACS preferred
• Comfortable performing 10-20 exams per shift

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging fundamentals including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis and spine protocols
• PACS workflow (Philips IntelliSpace) and image management
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Peripheral IV insertion and venous access for contrast delivery
• Familiarity with Siemens, GE and Toshiba CT equipment
• Infection control and PPE procedures
• Age-specific competency from neonate to older adult
• Efficient time management to handle 10-20 exams per shift and collaborate with transport staff
