Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility with dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
Document resident care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active CNA listing/registration in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Comfortable with direct patient care and able to safely assist with transfers and mobility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-recognized CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of patient hygiene, ADLs, and basic nursing procedures
Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
Good communication and teamwork skills — you’ll collaborate with nurses and staff
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Compassionate bedside manner and the ability to engage residents positively
Basic documentation skills; facility EMR experience is a plus
