Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Prepare the OR environment and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team
Advocate for patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
Document care accurately and communicate changes in patient status promptly
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or eligible to obtain one
Operating Room experience preferred; demonstrated perioperative skills a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications encouraged
CNOR certification preferred but not required
Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and manage competing priorities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and OR instrumentation
Patient assessment and perioperative care planning
Familiarity with perioperative safety protocols and infection control
Accurate clinical documentation and handoff communication
Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary surgical teams
