Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
Support mobility and safe transfers while following established protocols
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, residents and families to ensure coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Assist with meal service, documentation and other routine caregiving tasks with professionalism

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (state certification required; Pennsylvania certification preferred)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification as required by facility or employer policies
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and adapt to the facility’s posted schedule
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-centered approach
Willingness to complete required background checks, health screenings and facility onboarding

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic patient care
Proficient with taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow care plans and nurse directions
