Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Position patients correctly and explain procedures in a calm, reassuring way
Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and update imaging records in PACS
Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to support patient care
Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness

Qualifications

ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) or equivalent credential
State licensure for Missouri or eligibility to obtain MO licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
Comfort working with pediatric and adult patients in a hospital setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT registry preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with radiographic imaging and patient positioning
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control best practices
Ability to follow protocols, manage time effectively, and multitask
Compassionate patient care and clear communication skills
