Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend treatment changes to physicians and care team
• Perform thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled care for patients with neuromuscular, skeletal/orthopedic, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular disorders
• Select and implement appropriate therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve and restore function
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, independence and long-term wellness

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license required
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area (required for submitted candidates)
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit healthcare team
