Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology with accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments while maintaining proper documentation and quality records.
Execute and follow strict quality control procedures and safety protocols to ensure reliable patient results.
Prepare, process, and review patient specimens; prioritize tasks to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with laboratory team members and communicate critical results and issues to clinical staff in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory, ensure proper sample storage/handling, and support operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required).
Demonstrated experience performing testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical laboratory while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Experience with quality control processes and laboratory safety protocols.
Available for evening/night coverage and able to start quickly as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology).
Quality control and documentation best practices.
Lab instrumentation operation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Specimen handling, processing, and prioritization in a high-throughput setting.
Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
