Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, including ADLs and monitoring vital signs
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
Communicate clearly with RNs, physicians, patients, and families to coordinate care
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to keep the unit running smoothly
Support a positive, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state privileges where applicable)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Strong patient-focused attitude and reliable interpersonal skills
Comfortable with medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Previous experience in a long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic nursing care and bedside assessments
Knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
Understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
