Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the chart
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other care staff to coordinate patient care
Perform routine nursing procedures and assist with activities of daily living
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (certificate or diploma)
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but not required

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
Proficiency in taking and interpreting vital signs and basic assessments
Familiarity with infection control procedures and resident safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic health records and charting systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
Good time-management and prioritization skills for a fast-paced setting
