Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific days and start/end times TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately
Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient records
Support patients and families with education and emotional support
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (must be valid in Pennsylvania)
Completion of an accredited LPN program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility policy
Demonstrated clinical skills and ability to follow care plans and physician orders
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing assessment and documentation skills
Medication administration and safe practice knowledge
Basic wound care and monitoring skills
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during an 8-hour shift
Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
