Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts, days and start/end times to be confirmed (Shift Type: LPN)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications safely and document medication administration accurately
Perform patient assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
Assist with care planning and execute delegated nursing tasks to support positive outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely charting in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied staff to ensure coordinated care
Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and clear communication

Qualifications

Current LPN license (active) — ability to practice in the state where assigned
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Prior experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

Vocational or practical nursing diploma or equivalent program completion

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Skilled in patient assessments, documentation, and care coordination
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety principles
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
