Location: Lancaster, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents while honoring dignity and independence
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the resident record
- Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident comfort and safety
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver coordinated care plans
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working 8-hour clinical shifts and supporting resident care needs
- Strong communication, teamwork and patient-centered care skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic pharmacology knowledge
- Resident assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Wound care basics and infection control practices
- Electronic health record documentation and charting accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced long term care setting
- Empathy, professionalism and effective communication with residents and families
