Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-09-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring team (schedule details TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility protocols
Monitor patient status and communicate changes clearly to the care team
Document assessments, interventions, and responses in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support resident comfort and dignity through thoughtful, person-centered interactions

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/eligible as required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality resident care

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Infection control and safe clinical practices
Charting and electronic medical record familiarity
Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
