Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient condition, escalating concerns as needed
• Document patient care and chart in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Support patients and families with education and clear communication
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to facility policies and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — Pennsylvania licensure preferred or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent clinical training
• Comfortable with medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Able to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Wound care, IV spotting/assistance knowledge as applicable
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
• Customer-service style bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
