Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support mobility and transfers with proper techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual with a passion for geriatric care
Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of elder care best practices
Understanding of infection control procedures
Skill in using patient lift and transfer equipment
Basic computer literacy for documentation
Proficiency in English for effective communication
