Shift Type: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting
Triage and stabilize critical conditions, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform life-saving interventions
Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system
Provide compassionate support to patients and families during stressful moments
Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
ENPC or PALS certification required
Proficiency in EPIC charting system

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and trauma care
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-stress situations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
