Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health
Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 07-20-2026
End Date: 10-19-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in their homes, helping them regain independence
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in Cerner
- Maintain compliance with home health regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in home health or similar setting
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting
- Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation standards
