Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans using state-of-the-art equipment to aid in accurate diagnoses
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures and answering questions
Maintain detailed patient records and image documentation per facility protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results
Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
Assist in equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks

Qualifications

Active state license to practice as an MRI Technologist in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
ARRT certification (MRI) preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work weekend shifts independently

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MRI physics, safety, and protocol selection
Skilled in operating MRI scanners and related software
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Knowledge of contrast administration and contraindications
