Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Shift Type: Varied shifts, 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to orthodontists during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and mount dental X-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Assist with patient records and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Orthodontic Certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
- Skilled in patient interaction and education
- Familiar with dental software and charting systems
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
