Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to ensure optimal oral health
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of New York
- Valid CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work flexibly in a per diem capacity
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping systems
- Excellent patient education and chairside manner
- Skilled in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
