Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instrumentation and sterilization
- Understanding of periodontal disease and treatment
- Proficient in patient education and motivation
- Familiarity with dental software and record keeping
