Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with rotating weekends (6-9 per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse adult-geriatric population across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float within Zone 4 covering three hospitals in Kansas, ensuring staffing needs are met
Titrate heparin drips and monitor telemetry for patients with cardiac conditions
Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and acuity levels, including MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience, Alaris IV pumps, and EPIC charting preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Heparin titration and drip management
Floating and adaptability across multiple units
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in EPIC charting system
