Registered Nurse - Telemetry Float Pool
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, 36 hours/week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Titrate cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
- Monitor telemetry and interpret EKGs for patients on cardiac and neuro units
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-cath lab, post-vascular, and post-CABG patients
- Float between Tele, MedSurg, ICU, and holding areas across two campuses
- Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure safe patient ratios
- Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry or critical care
- Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
- Successful completion of a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract
- Ability to pass a simulation lab on the first day of orientation
- Flexibility to float to different units and campuses
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Cardiac drip titration
- NIHSS certification for neuro assessments
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
