Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts; schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance; weekend requirements: 6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, and more
Monitor telemetry and manage heparin drips and other titratable medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 4, adapting quickly to different unit needs
Utilize EPIC and Alaris systems for efficient charting and medication administration
Support patients and families during their healing journey with empathy and expertise

Qualifications

2+ years of recent MS/Tele experience required
Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to float across facilities within a 60-mile radius
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and required weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
Alaris IV pump experience preferred
Neuro assessment skills a plus
Strong communication and adaptability for float pool assignments
