Location: West Valley, UT

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, and pulse oximetry
Assist with bronchoscopy procedures and monitor patient responses
Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities safely
Evaluate and revise therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required; RRT preferred
Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours including call and overtime as needed

Education

Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in respiratory therapy, patient assessment, and diagnostic testing
Proficient in ABG analysis, PFT administration, and EKG interpretation
Skilled in bronchoscopy assistance and pulse oximetry monitoring
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
